Martial Vivot

Called "the gentleman’s barber for many of the city’s most powerful" by the New York Times, "the best in the city" by GQ.

Martial Vivot is a world-renowned men’s stylist and an authority on men’s grooming. His career began at 15 with a rigorous four-year apprenticeship in France, where he was named best apprentice by the French hair academy. He trained at the Toni & Guy Academy in London, then returned to France to earn his Master’s degree.

In 1999 he moved to New York and quickly became the stylist of choice for many of Manhattan’s most influential men, and the go-to authority on men’s grooming for GQ, Vogue Hommes, New York, Gotham and Departures. In July 2008 he opened Salon Pour Hommes — the first men’s salon in New York City to pair the privacy and comfort men want with the caliber of service found at the city’s legendary salons.

The first men’s salon in New York — built to a standard, not a trend.
